Most coffee arrives at your door already roasted, already ageing, already past its best. The bag might look good, the story on the back might sound interesting, but the flavour? That was decided weeks ago and started to fade the moment it left the roaster.
We started 100 Green Beans because we thought coffee – and you – deserved better.
Green beans are unroasted and keep their flavour locked in until the moment you roast them. That means the freshest coffee you've ever tasted isn't sitting on a shelf somewhere. It's sitting in your kitchen, waiting for you to make it.
We source. You roast. You decide.
The best roast starts with the right bean, so we work to find specialty-grade single origin beans from the regions that produce genuinely distinct coffee - Brazil, Colombia, Indonesia, Papua New Guinea, and more. We tell you exactly where each bean is from, how it was processed, and what flavours you can expect to find at different roast levels.
Then we hand it over to you.
Light roast pulls out the floral and fruit notes. Dark roast brings the chocolate and body forward. You choose what your cup tastes like - not us, not a roaster, not a bag packaged up six months ago.
